Who We Are

Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson Architects was founded in 1834 by Matthew Hadfield and now has around 80 professional staff, based in Sheffield, working on projects throughout the UK.

HCD unites Architects, Engineers, Masterplanners, Interior Designers and Structural Engineers in one practice combining professional expertise, creativity and commercial awareness.

We offer a range of services from specialist consultancy to a fully integrated multi-disciplinary design service, with each appointment tailored to meet the client’s requirements.
